can't go back after clicking on manufacturer link form product details screen

If you display the product screen for a product, then click on the manufacturer link after the description, it shows all products by the manufacturer, but clicking the back button on the browser will NOT return to the product screen - you have to do a new search again.  W.

View any product
Click on the manufacturer name (eg.  by Kingston)
This now displays all kingston products.
Now try and go back to the product you clicked that from (eg use browser back button)
Nothing happens and you have to perform another search for the original product to get back to it.
